We arrive back in L.A. It's 8 pm in the evening, on Monday, December 5th.

“Okay. This is your new home, so here we go.” I pick her up, and we both laugh wildly as we stagger in the narrow door of my L.A. apartment.

I notice it's looking good in here. I guess Suzy's been in for a tidy and a clean up. A large floral arrangement is on the entryway table alongside a bottle of Champagne and a card

“Oh Ryan, this is so cool,” she says excitedly, as I put her down, “quick, show me everything.”

We race around my apartment. I show her all my rooms, which are now her rooms, of course.

“There...that's everything, so, how d'you like it?” I say, taking her back in our bedroom for a quick test of the bed.

“I love it. I love the view too. The night skyline is pretty impressive from the twentieth floor.”

I roll up and off the bed.

“I'll put the champagne on ice, make yourself comfortable, Mrs Brantwell.”

“I think I'll have a bath. Then we can christen the marital bed.”

I leave her to her first bath in her new bathroom and collecting the Champagne, I enter the kitchen getting the ice bag out of the freezer and filling the waiting bucket around the bottle.

I busy myself for ten minutes looking through the mountain of mail and throwing a lot of it in the trash. I really need something to eat, and I discover Suzy has stocked the fridge with some cheeses and nibbles. A packet of crackers, some mixed nuts, a box of cookies and two champagne glasses sit on a tray on the counter.

I love Suze.

I pile everything on the tray, with some plates and a knife and take it into the bedroom placing it on the nightstand in readiness for our picnic.

I hear her humming in the bath and poke my head inside.

“Don't be too long.”

“I'm having a good old soak, sweetheart.”

“I don't want you to shrivel up. I like you soft and smooth.”

“Oh, hadn't thought of that, pass me the towel then.”

She rises from the bath and I dry her off, very thoroughly, my mouth wandering all over her clean and peachy places afterward.

I pick her up and dump her on the bed and we both explode in a fit of laughter which quickly turns very passionate.

An hour later we sit propped up in bed, sated and relaxed, tightly entwined in each others arms, sipping champagne and nibbling our cheese feast, dropping cracker crumbs everywhere.

“So, we have two days before my film career starts?”

“Ha ha, but yes...shooting starts at two on Wednesday. The first is a joint one, to get you in the swing.”

“Oh good, I was getting nervous.” She snuggles tighter.

“You don't need to be nervous around Tyrone. He'll put you at ease very quickly.”

“I'm looking forward to meeting him and seeing Suzy and Ted again.”

“Yeah, I kinda miss my pals.”

“You'll miss them even more when you're living half the year in Italy.”

“I guess so, but I'll have you and my family.
